Description

The au PAY Gift Card is a gift card that can be used to charge the balance in the “au PAY” mobile payment service. Simply enter the prepaid number of the gift card into the au PAY app to charge it, and you can immediately use it at stores (both physical and online) that accept au PAY. Of course, even if you are using a carrier other than au, you can use the service by downloading the app (an au ID is required).

How to Redeem

In Store

Download the au PAY app.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial setup.
Tap the “Charge” button in the app and select “au PAY Gift Card.”
Enter the prepaid number, and the balance will be charged for the set amount.
Tap the “Code Payment” button in the app to pay at the store.

Online

Download the au PAY app.

Tap the “Charge” button in the app and select “au PAY Gift Card.”
Enter the prepaid number, and the balance will be charged for the set amount.

The au PAY app will launch, and selecting “Pay” will complete the payment.

The au PAY balance is a balance that can be used for payments in increments of 1 yen.
It can be used for multiple payment services, including au PAY, au PAY Prepaid Card, and au Easy Payment.
If your balance is insufficient, you can top up anytime via the au PAY app (formerly au WALLET app) or at convenience stores like Lawson.
The au PAY balance has no expiration date.
au PAY is available on smartphones and tablets with iOS 12.0 or later / Android 6.0 or later, as well as Apple Watch with watchOS 6 or later.
The payment limit is ¥300,000 per transaction and ¥500,000 per day (including tax).
