With the Google Play gift cards are you able to top-up your Google Account balance. With this balance can you buy apps and games, renew subscriptions for services such as Tinder, and also pay for your Youtube Premium subscription!

When redeeming your Google Play gift card for the first time, you may need to provide some additional information to Google. If prompted when trying to redeem the code:

  • Click the “Send us details” link in the error message that appears.
  • Fill out the form and upload your purchase receipt (you don’t need to upload the card itself).
  • In the “City” field, write “Online”.
  • If your Google Play email doesn’t match the one on your Bitrefill receipt, include both emails in the form.
How to Redeem

Mobile app redemption:

  • Open the Google Play app
  • At the top right, tap the Profile icon
  • Click on Payments & Subscriptions, then Redeem code.
  • Enter the code and you’re all set!

Web browser redemption:

  • Go to http://play.google.com
  • In the top right, click on your profile icon
  • Click on Payments & Subscriptions
  • Under Payment methods, click on Add a payment method
  • Chose Redeem code and enter the code and pin

When funds have been added to your Google Account Balance this can then be used to pay for all the different services by choosing it as a payment option.

Redeeming the gift card during Check-out is also possible both in the Google Play app and in the browser=

When redeeming a gift card for the first time on your account, Google might ask for information about the gift card and its origins. It should be sufficient to send them a screenshot of the confirmation email you get from us after the purchase and a screenshot of the gift card code and pin you find when unsealing the card.
