How to Redeem

To redeem your WHSmith Gift Card, visit the WHSmith website or any store.

  • Choose your items in-store or online.
  • At checkout, select “Gift Card” as your payment method.
  • Enter your gift card number and PIN.
  • Your balance will be applied to your purchase. Enjoy shopping!
Terms and Conditions
  • Once activated, this gift card can be used as full or part payment for goods at UK WHSmith stores (excluding concessions and stores located at motorway service stations, WHSmith Local, London Underground sites or WHS franchise stores) and on WHSmith.co.uk.
  • Gift cards are non-refundable and no change will be given, but any balance remaining on the card may be applied to future purchases. Where goods purchased with the gift card are subsequently exchanged for goods of a lower price or returned for refund, monies owing will be added to the balance on the gift card.
  • Your new balance will (if used in store) be shown on your receipt every time you make a purchase or can be checked at any till in store or (if used online) can be checked online at: whsmith.co.uk/giftcard.
  • The minimum amount required to activate or top-up this gift card is £1, the maximum amount is £200 in one transaction, and the maximum limit is £1,000.
  • Please treat this gift card as if it were cash, as the balance cannot be returned to you if it is lost or stolen.
  • This gift card is not redeemable for cash, neither is it a credit, charge or cheque guarantee card.
  • This gift card will expire after 24 months of consecutive non-use and the balance will be deducted. Cards with a zero balance will expire after 65 days.
  • WH Smith Promotions Ltd. reserves the right to amend or waive these terms and conditions or terminate this scheme on reasonable notice. Such amendments will be notified in advance via in-store displays.
